Who Are We Living For?

Hello Ladies,

It has been FAR too long….But I’m back!

I was speaking with one of my friends this morning and in talking with her, I realized we as ladies, moms,
wives, friends & co-workers at times forget who we truly belong to!!
Remember always, we all are fearfully & wonderful made in His image. In trying to fill our 101 hats that we all wear daily; keeping up with the Jones (please stop); and trying to prove to those “nay sayers” that we are something, we tend to lose sight, or for some, we have not truly discovered our God given purpose. God has put us all here for HIS

Ladies, it is time to take off all those hats, tell those darn Jones' to go sit down somewhere and to not give a flying whatever about what the “nay sayers.” Let us instead think and discover what God wants us to do.  Until then, we will merely be running in circles until we are drained.  Live on purpose. Live in purpose. Live in His purpose,

So, during this long weekend take so some time out for YOU (it is okay) and ponder over these simple suggestions on how to discover your purpose :
  1. Your life purpose is right in the book, THE BIBLE. All you have to do is read it.
  2. What interests you?
  3. What is that thing or idea that keeps popping up and you continue to ignore?
  4. Don’t allow your situation or people to dictate if you can or cannot do something
  5. Don't ever give up!
  6. Set your will to God’s will
  7. TRY!!!

Another GREAT Meeting

Hello All,

I would like to thank all the ladies who were able to join us on Sunday. Once again the knowledge,
experience, and honesty shared during the meeting had a great impact on my life and prayerfully others'. One wife was extremely proud to attend the meeting, she said, "There is no class out there to teach women to be a wife." WOW!! God always has a bigger plan than what we may think . So what better way to learn your role as a wife than from hearing the steps other wives are taking during their walk as a wife.

We got a great word from Loni's mom, Mrs. Pam, and to sum up all her insight into one phrase it would be this:

"A man always wants to feel like a man."
The bible clearly shows us why:

Exodus 18:25 Moses chose able men out of all Israel and made them heads over the people, leaders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens.

Numbers 1:4 One man from each tribe, each the head of his family, is to help you.

A man wants to feel wanted. Once he feels like he no longer can provide for you and his family, what keeping him from straying or leaving!!

I know all you wives are STRONG women of God but please remember that God gave us to our husband as his help mate.

Genesis 2:18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”

Remember we all have roles in our “Marriage” once we step out of our role into our spouses you take away from his self worth & cause him to question his purpose.

We Need One Another!!

My Girlfriend sent this to me this morning!!  It was right on time for me & I just had to share this with you all:

Time passes.
Life happens.
Distance separates.
Children grow up.
Jobs come and go. Love waxes and wanes.
Men at times don't do what they're supposed to do.
Hearts break. Parents die. Colleagues forget favors. Careers end.
But, sisters are there, no matter how much time and how many miles are between you.
A girl friend is never farther away than needing her can reach.
When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself, the women in your life will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on, praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on your behalf,
and waiting with open arms at the valley's end.
Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk beside you... or come in and carry you out.
Girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters, Daughters-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, nieces, cousins, and extended family all bless our life!
The world wouldn't be the same without women, and neither would I.
When we began this adventure called womanhood, we had no idea of the incredible joys or sorrows that lay ahead. Nor did we know how much we would need each other.
Every day, we need each other still.

See what it means when we truly support one another?!  I cannot wait to see all of you lovely "Only Wives" this Sunday!!

Luv Ya,
The Only Wife

Hey Ladies!!!

OK, I want to hear from you. Have you made any slight or big changes in YOU? How did that effect your marriage?
